Heavy cast-iron adjustable screw jack/post used for temporary support or leveling in construction or rail applications. Solid one-piece steel shaft with screw-adjustable cast-iron head and base; shows surface rust and aged patina but threads and parts appear intact. Robust industrial piece likely from mid-20th century; great for reuse as a prop or restoration project for workshop use.
