Description

Army-issue canvas-covered canteen marked "US" on the front with original olive-drab webbing and snap closure; appears to be a mid-20th-century style GI canteen with plastic screw cap. The cover shows age-appropriate wear, light staining, and patina on the snaps but fabric and stitching appear intact. Good display piece for military collectors or reenactors; does not appear to have been recently sanitized for drinking use. Approximately the standard canteen size and carries the classic WWII/Korean War era look.
