Description

A 61-piece South Seas Community Silverplate flatware service stored in a green wooden chest with red velour lining. The pattern features a scrolling acanthus-style motif on the handles; pieces show surface wear, light tarnish, and some scratches consistent with age and use. Community Silver Company produced many popular mid-century silverplate patterns; this set appears to be silverplate rather than sterling (no visible sterling marks). Chest shows cosmetic wear to painted finish and interior pads present but a few slots are empty or misaligned. Sold as a used flatware service with chest included.
