Description

Barker Ellis silverplate oval tray with heavy all-over engraved scrolling foliate decoration and a shell-form handle. The seller identifies it as vintage Barker Ellis silverplate; the detailed repoussé-style ornament and shaped rim are consistent with decorative silverplate servingwares. Shows light surface scratching and mild tarnish visible in photos but no obvious dents or repairs. Useful as a serving piece or decorative tray; please see photos for condition and scale.
