Description

Decorative majolica-style two-handled bowl marked on the base "805" and stamped "Frie Onnaing France" (as shown) with a richly colored relief floral and berry pattern and a pink glazed interior. The heavily molded earthenware displays vibrant lead glazes typical of French majolica production and has two ornate handles and a scalloped rim; base marks are clear in photos. Good condition overall with expected glaze crazing and light base wear from use; no obvious large chips or cracks visible in the images. Measures compactly and works well as a decorative centerpiece or for display on a shelf or mantel.
