Description

Tall mahogany longcase (grandfather) clock with brass-cornered silvered dial and Roman numerals; the dial is signed "Coats Wiggl" (as shown in photos). The case shows figured mahogany veneers, fluted columns and a swan-neck pediment with decorative painted frieze. Mechanical pendulum and weights are present but movement was not tested; case has visible age cracks and veneer losses shown in photos and some repair needed. Substantial decorative statement piece that would suit restoration or continued use if serviced by a clockmaker; overall condition fair with notable structural and veneer issues.missing weights
