Description

Decorative blue-and-white ceramic candleholder with hand-painted foliate and scroll motifs; the piece features a shallow drip dish base with a tall, tapered stem and a small scalloped candle cup. The glaze shows age-appropriate crazing and there are small chips to the rim of the candle cup as seen in photos. Suitable as a pair (two shown) for mantel or table display; each is lightweight and offers classic chinoiserie-inspired decoration.
