Description

Hand-carved onyx horse head bookends, sold as a matched pair, with warm banded cream, beige and amber veining visible through the polished stone. Each piece sits on a rectangular onyx base and shows craftsman carving details in the mane and face; natural striations vary between the two pieces. Solid and decorative, these are suitable as shelf bookends or accent objects; surface is polished with minor edge wear visible at bases consistent with normal use. Measures roughly 6 x 4 x 2 inches each (see dimensions).
