Description

Pair of solid brass duck-head bookends with a stylized sculpted profile and smooth polished finish. Heavy, free-standing forms show typical surface wear and small dings consistent with age and use; one base has a darker spot on the rear as pictured. Each piece is substantial enough to hold books on a shelf and would suit mid-century or traditional decor. No maker's marks are visible in the photos.
