Description

Decorative claret pitcher and burner stand marked "ENGLISH SILVER MFG CORP" and "MADE IN USA"; features a glass pitcher with ornate silverplated collar, hinged lid and decorative handle plus a matching three-legged stand with lion-head supports and a small reservoir for a heat source. Heavy silverplate shows age-related tarnish and verdigris in places but no obvious structural damage; glass pitcher appears intact with no visible cracks. A handsome serving piece for vintage table service or display, solidly constructed and characteristic of mid-20th-century silverplate serveware.
