Description

Handwoven wicker basket shaped like a duck with a carved wooden beak and loop handle on the underside. The piece is a decorative serving or display basket with reddish-brown wicker and tight, even weaving; the neck and head are sculpted for a charming folk-art look. Construction appears sturdy with only minor surface wear and a few small broken reeds visible on the base and rim consistent with normal age and use. Measures compactly for tabletop display or light storage.
