Description

Hand-signed ceramic bird trio by Carlos Villaneda featuring a large stylized bird, a small songbird, and an owl with textured carved-feather decoration and green, brown and cream glazes. The large figure is hollow with a drainage/vent hole at the base and the underside bears the hand-painted signature shown in photos. Good estate condition with surface glaze wear and light roughness to unglazed bases; no obvious major cracks or missing pieces visible aside from normal kiln roughness and a small chip at the large base rim. Decorative set ideal for mantel or shelf display; largest piece measures approximately 12–14 inches long and the smaller birds scale accordingly.
