Description

Hand-carved wooden turtle with a reddish-brown finish and incised shell detail; the piece has inlaid eyes (likely glass or shell) and sits on four carved legs. Solid-feeling medium-weight carving with visible tool lines and light surface wear consistent with age and handling; small chip at rear edge visible in photos. A decorative accent or shelf sculpture that would suit an entry table or bookcase — measures roughly the size of a small tabletop figurine.
