Description

Large brown dome-top steamer trunk with metal-reinforced edges and original hardware, shown open to reveal a checked fabric interior. Solid construction with wood slats and metal corner straps; exterior shows wear, scuffs, some missing trim and surface scratches consistent with age. Good decorative storage piece or restoration candidate for bedroom or living room use — measures large enough to serve as a blanket or storage chest. Hinges and latches appear present though may need servicing; interior fabric has small stains and age wear.
